Biology tells us that after sexual intercourse, about 200-300 million sperms are deposited by the man, they all begin to swim upwards within the tract to meet with the ovum. Of the over 200 million that are deposited, only 300-500 actually reach the site (others get tired on the way because it is no small race!).
And of the 300 that manage to reach the egg only one fertilises the egg, in this case the winning one was YOU!   WOW!!!
Have you ever thought about this? You ran a race without your eyes and you won, you ran without a certificate and you won, you ran without a thump print and you won, you ran without an education, you ran/swam without physical help and disciplined practice (like Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, etc)...and you still won!
What makes you think that you will lose now? Now that you have both eyes and legs, now that you have a certificate, now that you have a plan, purpose, a dream and a vision...
And most importantly, you have God your Creator, Who;
🔹FORMED you from the womb -Is.44:2,
🔹CALLED you from the Womb -Is.49.1,
🔹KNEW you from the Womb -Jer.1:5,
🔹To make YOU more than a Conqueror through Christ! -Rom.8:37.
Beloved, never give up on any day or time.
You can't give up now! Giving up now is an insult to your Creator.

It doesn't matter the gravity of the Challenge/s Confronting you, always remember that you WON from the WOMB!!!

WHY CHRISTIANITY MAY COLLAPSED IN NIGERIA

Turkey is in the present day Europe and partly in Asia.

■Apostle Paul was a citizen of Turkey because Tarsus exists in Turkey.

■Christianity existed in Turkey for about 1,023 years while Christianity has only existed in Nigeria and Ghana for 172yrs starting from when Rev. Birch Freeman came to Badagry in 1842.

■The seven churches Jesus spoke to in Revelations 2 & 3(Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea) existed in the old Turkey.

■Turkey once had the largest Christian auditorium in Europe called Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.

■Mary the mother of Jesus was taken to Turkey by Apostle John and till date, her room has become a tourist centre.

*TURKEY TODAY*

■Present day Turkey now has 96% muslims & 0.02% Christians(less than 130,000).

■The Hagia Sophia(once largest church in Europe) was taken over by muslims and converted to a mosque for over 400yrs and later used as an Islamic Museum.

*WHY CHRISTIANITY COLLAPSED IN TURKEY*

■Emphasis on doctrinal differences weakened the Turkish church.

■Rivalries amongst denominations.

■Petty politics in church coupled with ethnic biases.

■The Turks were building big cathedrals instead of building men.

*HOW IT HAPPENED*

■Osman Ghazi discovered the disunity amongst Christians and used it to fight a Jihad that led to a mass genocide of the Armenians, the Hellen and Turks of that day. In fact, the weapon of war used was designed by a Turkish Christian.

■Many Christian women converted to Islam to save their lives and some were raped and killed.

■Osman Ghazi started the Ottoman empire which gave muslims political post and made it a religion of the state.

*IS NIGERIA/GHANA HEADING THE WAY OF TURKEY*

■Virtually all the mistakes the church in Turkey made, the Nigerian/Ghanaian church have made it.

■We are building Cathedrals at the expense of discipling men.

■Disunity amongst churches.

■Ethnicity in the church.

■Denominational rivalry, etc.

■Sharp division along doctrinal lines.

*MORE FACTS*

■The spiritual foundation of Turkey is stronger than that of Nigeria/ Ghana and Christianity existed for over 1000yrs in Turkey unlike ours which is just 172yrs but Islam Radicalism uprooted it. If it can happen in Turkey, it can also happen If we are not careful.

■The menace of Boko Haram has destroyed a lot of churches in the Northern Nigeria and it may take another 200yrs to evangelize Borno State alone.

■There is a secret agenda to Islamize Nigeria and other African nations as contained in Abuja declaration of 1989.

*DON’T SAY IT CAN’T HAPPEN HERE, IF WE DON’T RIGHT OUR WRONGS AS A CHURCH.*

*SOLUTION*

■HEART-FELT Intercession.

■Aggressive evangelism- the terrorist reached out to the youths in the norths first and gave them AK-47 and bombs, if we had reached out to them on time,
they’ll be carrying BIBLES today.

■Mission support:-God is holding the church responsible for Boko Haram, yet we are blaming the government. If we had supported missions and
missionaries, we would have those insurgents to Christ long ago.

■Unity of the church is key in winning this battle. The last but not the least christians should be actively involve in politics. Enough of these muslims political office holder with islamic agenda.

WHY SUICIDE IS NOT AN OPTION

Then Judas threw the silver coins down in the Temple and went out and hanged himself.

Life can sometimes feel hopeless. Maybe you are going through the death of a loved one, a permanent disability, failure or betrayal. You’re not alone.

Do not choose Judas’ path of ending his own life with suicide. Instead, read on to see how some of God’s people have responded to these feelings rather than suicide:

1.Betrayal: David
David, the “man after God’s own heart,” was running away from King Saul, whom he had served. He fled to Israel’s enemies and they betrayed him, taking his family captive. Even David’s trusted followers began to turn on him: “David, too, was in anguish. Some of his men talked about stoning him because they were so bitter about their families being taken.” Who else was left at this point? “But David took comfort in the Eternal One, his True God” (1 Samuel 30:6). With God, David had stood against impossible odds before. (See 1 Samuel 17)

2. Loss: Job
Because of the devil’s attack, Job lost everything: his riches, his family... even his health. “Why does God let me live when life is miserable and so bitter? I keep longing for death more than I would seek a valuable treasure. Nothing could make me happier than to be in the grave.” (Job 3:20-22). It’s hard to imagine Job’s suffering. But he came to realize how unwise these words had been: “I have said things that I did not understand, things too great for me, which I did not know.” (Job 42:3)

3. Hopelessness: Paul
Paul was the fearless missionary (Acts 21:13) who sang in prison (Acts 16:25) and wrote part of the New Testament. He once admitted, “We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it” (2 Corinthians 1:8).

More understanding may not change how you feel, but don’t trust your emotions. For a child of God, life is never hopeless. How can you really say you trust God with your eternity if you don't trust Him now? All of these men suffered greatly, but God had a greater plan for their lives on earth which they fulfilled. At some point in life, we experience the pain of rejection, suffer the sadness of loneliness, and the shock of abandonment. We are detested because of where we come from, our physical appearance sordid past or economic status and social standing. Whatever the reason, it is never a good experience. Yet we need not feel that we are alone. God has said He will never forsake us. Ezra says though they were slaves, God did not forsake nor abandoned them. Beloved, God cannot abandon you.

In 1888 Campbell Morgan was one of the 150 young men who sought entrance to the Wesleyan ministry. He passed the doctrinal examinations, but when he faced three ministers and 75 others who came to listen to his trial sermon he did not do well. Morgan was among the 105 rejected for the ministry that year. He wired his father one word, ‘Rejected.’ His father replied quickly: “’Rejected on earth, accepted in heaven. Dad.’” Beloved, rejection is rarely permanent as Morgan later proved. In this life, circumstances change, and there is no rejection of those accepted by Christ. Friend, whatever you are going through now, remember you are not abandoned.

MESSAGE

You must never allow anything to hinder you from becoming what God wants you to become. Don’t give in to the lies and fear that the devil is sending against you. In 1981, before I became 40 years old, I had been General Overseer for just a few months. One day, I looked at myself in the mirror and I saw grey hair all over my head. We had many problems in the church then. The Lord said I was carrying a burden that was not mine and I responded by saying that I was carrying the burdens related to the church. He said the church belonged to Him and that He could take care of it. He said He just made me the General Overseer as a front so that people will see a visible representative. I relaxed henceforth, and all my hair became black again.
There are mountains that stand between us and the things God wants us to achieve. These mountains could be issues that are hindering the actualisation of our set goals. The mountain could be people who do not see or understand what God is saying to you yet; or it could be people who are falsely accusing you, but you can be sure that God will always reduce all your mountains into plains. There are certain burdens and problems that are too big for you to carry? All you need do is to hand them over to the Burden Bearer. In Numbers 16:1-35, three men; Korah, Dathan and Abiram, came with the intention of hindering the assignments that God gave to Moses. They accused him of turning the leadership of the congregation into a family affair. They said Aaron his brother was a priest while Miriam his sister was the Choirmaster. In the midst of this mountain, Moses turned to God for intervention. The Lord told Moses to stand aside and watch Him fight against the mountains that were rising before him to hinder the work He had committed into his hand. By the time God was through with the mountains, they had all become plains.

When mountains rise against you, don’t waste your time entertaining any fear. When the Almighty God is on your side, it does not matter the problems confronting you, testimonies will be the final result in your favour. The Bible says in Psalms 30:5:

“Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.”

What is that sickness hindering you? The Almighty God will be your personal Physician. If it is poverty that wants to hinder all the great dreams that the Almighty God has given to you, do not fear the hindrance because He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Are there people standing up against you? Are they persecuting you and distracting you from that which God has designed you for? Just relax; God who levels all mountains knows the best judgement for your enemies. He has assured you that when the enemies come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against them. He has assured you that no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. He will supply you with the strength to succeed when failure rises up. He will still all the storms rocking your boat and at the end you will look for the mountains but you will see them no more in Jesus’ name.

Key Point:

There is no mountain that is beyond God.
